Sarah Hadley 
Sarah was born on August 17th, 1762 in Orange County, North Carolina.1 Sarah's father was Joshua Hadley and her mother was Ruth Lindley. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Hadley and Patience Brown; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Lindley and Ruth Hadley. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Simon, William, John, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Jacob, Joshua, ??????, Girl, Ruth and Mary. She was the oldest of the thirteen children. She had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Catherine, Patience and Jane. She died at the age of 64 on June 3rd, 1827 in Chatham County, North Carolina.
