Joseph Hadley 
Joseph was born on June 13th, 1787 in Chatham County, North Carolina.1 Joseph's father was Joshua Hadley and his mother was Lydia Beals Hiatt. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Hadley and Patience Brown. He had two sisters named Catherine and Patience. He was the second oldest of the three children. He had eight half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Thomas, Simon, William, John, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Jacob, Joshua, Sarah, ??????, Girl, Ruth, Mary and Jane. He died at the age of 72 on November 26th, 1859 in Richland, Keokuk County, Iowa.1 -
