Jacob Hadley 
Jacob was born on March 1st, 1781 in Chatham County, North Carolina.1 Jacob's father was Joshua Hadley and his mother was Ruth Lindley. His paternal grandparents were Joshua Hadley and Patience Brown; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Lindley and Ruth Hadley. He had seven brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Simon, William, John, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Joshua, Sarah, ??????, Girl, Ruth and Mary. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He had a half-brother and three half-sisters, named Joseph, Catherine, Patience and Jane. He died at the age of 68 in 1849 in Chatham County, North Carolina.1 -
