Patience Hadley 
Patience was born on April 17th, 1789 in Chatham County, North Carolina.1 Patience's father was Joshua Hadley and her mother was Lydia Beals Hiatt. Her paternal grandparents were Joshua Hadley and Patience Brown. She had a brother and a sister, named Joseph and Catherine. She was the youngest of the three children. She had eight half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Thomas, Simon, William, John, Jeremiah, Jonathan, Jacob, Joshua, Sarah, ??????, Girl, Ruth, Mary and Jane. She died at the age of 40 in 1829.1 -
