Ruth Newlin 
Ruth was born on September 21st, 1780 in Orange Co, Nc.1 Ruth's father was Eli Newlin and her mother was Sarah Hadley. Her maternal grandparents were Joshua Hadley and Ruth Lindley. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Joshua, John, Edith and Mary. She was the oldest of the five children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Jeremiah, Jonathan, David and Sarah. She died at the age of 58 on September 24th, 1838 in Plainfield, Indiana.
