Hypolite Oge Couvillon 
Hypolite Oge was born on February 6th, 1830 in Joffrion Lane, Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.1 Hypolite Oge's father was HYPOLITE Oge Couvillon and his mother was *HELOISE Rabalais. His paternal grandparents were PIERRE Couvillon and *BRIGETTE Mayeux; his maternal grandparents were Rene Paulin Rabalais and Josephine Celeste Bordelon. He had four brothers and four sisters, named JEROME, Grigoire, Ludger Hypolite, Philogene Anatole, Edvise, Heloise, Ermantine and Edmonia Herminia. He was the third oldest of the nine children. He had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Olivier, Jean Baptiste, Elphege and Helene. He died at the age of 84 on September 15th, 1914 in Avoyelles Parish, Louisiana.
