Anne Barbe was born in 1736 in St. Charles Parish, First German Coast, Louisiana.1 Anne Barbe's father was Daniel Boftz and her mother was Anne Marie Werich. Her maternal grandparents were Nicolas Werich and Anne Marie Bangard. She had four sisters named Annemarie, Reine, Catherine and Boftz. She was the third oldest of the five children. She had two half-brothers named Jacques and Jean. She died at the age of 28 on November 2nd, 1764 in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.1 -
