Joseph Rabalais 
Joseph was born on January 12th, 1764 in Point Coupee, Louisiana.1 Joseph's father was Joseph Rabalais and his mother was Anne Barbe Boftz. His paternal grandparents were Jean Baptiste Rabalais and Marguerite Bellanger; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Boftz and Anne Marie Werich. He had a brother and two sisters, named Jean Baptiste, Henriette and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother and two half-sisters, named Jean Baptiste, Felicite and Adelaide.1 -
