Simon was born about 1733 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1   Simon's father was Nicholas Lacour and his mother was Perrine Brette.  His paternal grandparents were Antoine de LaCour and Francoise duClos; his maternal grandparents were Louis Brette and Elizabeth Roy. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Lacour, Henri, Nicholas, Jean Baptiste, Perrine, Jacques, Adrienne Nicole, Jeanne, Louise, Marie and Elizabeth.  He died in 1776.1 


Simon's first family with Marguerite Perrine Frederic

‌Simon and Marguerite Perrine were married in a religious ceremony on June 13th, 1761 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1   They had a son and six daughters, named Antoine Simon, Felicite Simon, Adelaide, Marie Marguerite, Modeste, Clemence and Sidonie Dorothee.


Simon's second family

He had a biological son and a biological daughter, named Nicolas and Genevieve.
