Simon was born about 1733 in Pointe Coupee, Louisiana.1 Simon's father was Nicholas Lacour and his mother was Perrine Brette. His paternal grandparents were Antoine de LaCour and Francoise duClos; his maternal grandparents were Louis Brette and Elizabeth Roy. He had four brothers and seven sisters, named Lacour, Henri, Nicholas, Jean Baptiste, Perrine, Jacques, Adrienne Nicole, Jeanne, Louise, Marie and Elizabeth. He died in 1776.1 -
