Marie was born on August 9th, 1746.1   Marie's father was Nicholas Lacour and her mother was Perrine Brette.  Her paternal grandparents were Antoine de LaCour and Francoise duClos; her maternal grandparents were Louis Brette and Elizabeth Roy. She had five brothers and six sisters, named Lacour, Henri, Simon, Nicholas, Jean Baptiste, Perrine, Jacques, Adrienne Nicole, Jeanne, Louise and Elizabeth.1
