John Winston Payne 
John Winston was born on June 20th, 1784.1 John Winston's father was Tarleton Payne and his mother was Elizabeth Winston. His paternal grandfather was Josias Payne and his paternal grandmother is Elizabeth Fleming. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Tarleton Fleming, William, William Overton, Thomas, Ann Overton, Alice Bickerton, Barbara W. and Elizabeth Fleming. He died at the age of 66 on November 19th, 1850.
John Winston and Mary were married in a religious ceremony on December 24th, 1807 in , Goochland, Virginia.1 They had two sons and eight daughters, named Tarleton Fleming, John W., Emily C., Elizabeth Winston, Susanna G., Jane C., Ann O., Mary T., Barbara W. and Caroline B..
