Tarleton Payne 
Tarleton was born on February 21st, 1757 in , Goochland, Virginia and his baptism took place on April 16th, 1758 in St James Northam Par, Goochland, Virginia.1 Tarleton's father was Josias Payne and his mother is Elizabeth Fleming. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Josias, William, Fleming, Charles Fleming, Thomas, Sally, Elizabeth and Henrietta. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named George Washington and Anne. He died at the age of 60 on August 10th, 1817 in , Goochland, Virginia.2 
‌Tarleton and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony on July 14th, 1788 in , Goochland, Virginia. They had five sons and four daughters, named John Winston, Tarleton Fleming, William, William Overton, Thomas, Ann Overton, Alice Bickerton, Barbara W. and Elizabeth Fleming.
