Isabella De was born about 1180 in Of, Angouleme, Charente, France.1   Isabella De's father was Aymer De Taillefer and her mother was Alice De Courtenay.  Her paternal grandparents were William IV de Taillefer and Emma De Limoges; her maternal grandparents were Pierre Prince Of France and Isabella De Courtenay.  She was an only child.  She died on May 31st, 1245 in Fontevrault Abbey, Fontevrault, Maine Et Loire, France.  She was buried in Fontevrault Abbey, Fontevrault, Maine Et Loire, France.1 1
