Adelaide was born in 1092 in Savoy, France.1   Adelaide's father was Humbert II Savoy and her mother was Gisela Gille Of Burgundy Ivrea***.  Her paternal grandparents were Amadeus II Of Savoy and Johanna Of Geneva; her maternal grandparents were William I De Bourgogne and Stephanie of Longwy***. She had a brother named Amadeus III of.  She was the younger of the two children. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, named VII Montferrat, Conrado Di, I Montferrat, Ranier, Guillaume IV Margrave Of, Alice and Joan Giovanna De.  She died at the age of 62 on November 18th, 1154 in Abbaye De Montmartre, France.  She was buried in Abbaye De Montmartre, Savoie.1 1 


Adelaide's family with Louis IV King Of France

‌Adelaide and Louis IV King Of were married in a religious ceremony on August 3rd, 1115 in Paris, France.1   They had three sons and a daughter, named Louis VII the Younger Capet of, Robert Count Of, Pierre Prince Of and Constance Capet.
