Gerberge was born about 0928 in Bourgogne, France.1 Gerberge's father was Leotald Count De Macon and her mother was Adelaide Adelais De Bourgogne. Her paternal grandparents were Vicount Of Narbonne Aubri and Attela De Macon; her maternal grandparents were Duke of Lorraine Giselbert and Ermengarde de Burgundy. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Alberic Aubri, Hugues Ier, Adelaide, Maud Mathilda and Elizabeth. She died in Bourgogne, France.1 General Notes
