Edward was born on March 10th, 1864 in Overton, Bradford Co., Pa...1 Edward's father was Henry Sherman and his mother was Elizabeth Thrasher. His paternal grandparents were Jacob Sherman and Elizabeth Williams. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Nelson, William, John, Moses, Andrew Washington, Catherine, Loretta, Vielene, Caroline and Anna. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, Daniel, Amos, Henry, Peter, Jacob and Mary. He died at the age of 77 in June 1941.1 General Notes
