Andrew Washington Sherman

Andrew Washington was born on July 19th, 1858 in Overton, Bradford Co., Pa...¹   Andrew Washington's father was Henry Sherman and his mother was Elizabeth Thrasher.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Sherman and Elizabeth Williams. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Nelson, William, John, Moses, Edward, Catherine, Loretta, Vielene, Caroline and Anna.  He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, Daniel, Amos, Henry, Peter, Jacob and Mary.  He died at the age of 67 on February 7th, 1926.  He was buried in Va..^1 1
