Caroline was born on April 4th, 1855 in Overton, Bradford Co., Pa...1 Caroline's father was Henry Sherman and her mother was Elizabeth Thrasher. Her paternal grandparents were Jacob Sherman and Elizabeth Williams. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Nelson, William, John, Moses, Andrew Washington, Edward, Catherine, Loretta, Vielene and Anna. She was the fifth youngest of the eleven children. She had six half-brothers and a half-sister, named George, Daniel, Amos, Henry, Peter, Jacob and Mary. She died at the age of 29 on January 4th, 1885. She was buried in St. Pauls U.C.C.
