Sibyl was born in 1209 in Of Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales and her baptism took place in 1209 in ,St David's, Pembrokeshire, Wales.1   Sibyl's father was William The Protector' Marshall and her mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert De Clare.  Her paternal grandparents were John "The Marshall" FitzGilbert and Sibylle De Salisbury; her maternal grandparents were Richard De Clare and Eva MacMurrough. She had four sisters named Matilda, Eve, Isabella and Joane.  She was the youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 36 on April 27th, 1245.1 


Sibyl's first family with William De Ferrers

‌Sibyl and William were married in a religious ceremony before May 1219 in Of, Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales.1   They had three daughters named Maud Matilda, Joan and Agnes.


Sibyl's second family with William De Say

They had a son and two daughters, named William, Mary and De Say.
