Sibylle was born in 1127 in Pembroke, England.1   Sibylle's father was Walter FitzEdward Of Salisbury and her mother was Sibyl De Chaworth.  Her paternal grandparents were Sherriff of Salisbury Edward and Matilda Fitzhubert; her maternal grandparents were Patrick De Chaworth and Maud De Hesdin. She had a brother named Patrick.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died before 1155.1 


Sibylle's family with John "The Marshall" FitzGilbert

‌Sibylle and John "The Marshall" were married in a religious ceremony after 1141 in Pembroke, Wales.1   They had two sons and a daughter, named John, William The Protector' and Margaret Fitz Gilbert.
