Marguerite was born in 1045 in Of, Montdidier, Somme, France.1   Marguerite's father was Hildouin III Of Montdidier and her mother was Alice Adela' De Roucy.  Her paternal grandparents were Count Of Montdidier Hildouin and Lesseline De Harcourt; her maternal grandparents were Count Of De Roucy Ebles and Beatrice Countess Of Hainault. She had two brothers and three sisters, named André, Ebles II, Adele De Roucy, Beatrice Of and Queen of Aragon.  She was the second oldest of the six children. She had a half-brother named Godfrey.  She died about 1110.1 


Marguerite's family with Hugues Ier De Clermont

‌Marguerite and Hugues Ier were married in a religious ceremony about 1065 in Of, Picardy, France.1   They had a son and four daughters, named Renaud II, Ermentrude, Adeliza, Béatrice Ou Emma and Richilde.
