(1894), p.294, no.37]. He witnessed a charter of Eudes
between 1033-1037 [B. Guerard, CARTULARY DE ST.
PERE DE CHARTRES, vol. I, p.125]. His brother Manasser, who fell with Count Eudes at Ornel, 15 Nov 1037, was Count of Dammartin. Hildouin II was succeeded by his son, Hildouin III, who married
Adela, daughter and co-heiress of Ebles I [C. of Roucy].
