Rainer II Count was born about 0892 in France.1 Rainer II Count's father was Rainer I of Brabant and his mother was Ermentrud or Hersent of Franks. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert Count of Brabant and Ermengarde Duchess of Moselle; his maternal grandparents were King of France Charles and Ermentrude Queen of Franks. He had a brother and a sister, named Duke of Lorraine and Symphorienne of. He was the youngest of the three children. He died in 0932 in France.1 General Notes
