Isabella was born on October 9th, 1200 in Pembroke Castle, Wales and her baptism took place in ,St David's, Pembrokeshire, Wales.1   Isabella's father was William The Protector' Marshall and her mother was Isabel Fitzgilbert De Clare.  Her paternal grandparents were John "The Marshall" FitzGilbert and Sibylle De Salisbury; her maternal grandparents were Richard De Clare and Eva MacMurrough. She had four sisters named Matilda, Eve, Joane and Sibyl.  She was the third oldest of the five children.  She died in Berkhamsted Castle, Wales.  She was buried in Beaulieu Abbey, Hampshire.1 1
