Maud was born about 1233 in Of, England.1   Maud's father was Gilbert De Lacy and her mother was Isabel Bigod.  Her paternal grandparents were Walter De Lacy and Margaret De Braiose; her maternal grandparents were Hugh Le Bigod and Matilda Marshal. She had four half-sisters named Isabel, Aveline, Maud and Joan.  She died in 1304.1

‌Maud and Geoffrey were married in a religious ceremony in 1254 in Meath, Ireland.1   They had a son named Piers.

‌Maud and Nicholas were married in a religious ceremony about 1255 in Of, England.1   They had a son and a daughter, named John and Eleanor.
