Alberic De Vere 
Alberic was born in 1062 in Of, Hedingham, Essex, England.1 Alberic's father was Alberic De Vere and his mother was Beatrice Gand. His paternal grandparents were Alphonso De Ver Of Ghesnes and Katherine Of Flanders; his maternal grandparents were Henry Castellan De Gand and Sibilla Manasses. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Geoffrey, Roger, Robert, William, Alice, Roheise (Roesia) and Aethelaise. He was the second oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 79 on May 15th, 1141 in killed, London. He was buried in Colne Priory, Earls Colne, Essex, England.1 1 General Notes
