Mary was born on April 12th, 1877 in Calhoun Co., AL.1 Mary's father was Napoleon Bonapart Spradley and her mother was Minerva Adalaide Kirby. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Decalb Charles Spradley and Elizabeth Boone; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Luther Kirby and Malinda Melinda Taylor. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Joseph Kirk, Thaddeus A., Taylor DeKalb, Lewis Napoleon, Flint Elmer, Panora, Rusia Elizabeth and Melinda Naomie. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children. She died in Birmingham, Jefferson Co., AL.1 -
