Edith Rushing 
Edith was born on October 13th, 1926 in FL.1 Edith's father was Baron DeKalb Washington Rushing and her mother was Mary E. McMillian. Her paternal grandparents were Mathew Malachi Rushing and Martha E. Ham. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John Thomas Edmous, Leroy, Franklin Jerome, Bessie Mae, Annie Beatrice and Mary E.. She was the third youngest of the seven children. She had five half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Charlie M., Baron DeKalb Washington, Jr., Andrew Jackson, William Wesley, Phillip Jefferson, Etta, Laura S., Carrie Bell and Cora Lee. She died at the age of 27 in 1953 in FL. She was buried in Eucheeanna Valley Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Walton Co, FL.1 1 -
