Carrie Bell was born on October 24th, 1911 in ?.1 Carrie Bell's father was Baron DeKalb Washington Rushing and her mother was Mary Bell Rudd. Her paternal grandparents were Mathew Malachi Rushing and Martha E. Ham. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Charlie M., Baron DeKalb Washington, Jr., Andrew Jackson, William Wesley, Phillip Jefferson, Etta, Laura S. and Cora Lee. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She had three half-brothers and four half-sisters, named John Thomas Edmous, Leroy, Franklin Jerome, Bessie Mae, Annie Beatrice, Edith and Mary E.. She died at the age of 56 on November 2nd, 1967 in ?.1 -
