Rebecca Virginia was born on March 24th, 1847 in Lowndes County, Alabama.1 Rebecca Virginia's father was Overstreet Wiley Garrett and her mother was Martha P Bozeman. Her paternal grandparents were Robert* Jackson, Sr. Garrett and Mary* Ann Clackler. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Joshua Hill, James Monroe, John Coleman, Thomas Jefferson, Frances Sara and Martha Jane. She was the third oldest of the seven children. She had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Robert Jonathan, Nedam Gray, Joseph Henry, George, Mary Elizabeth, Eliza Jane and Susan Caroline. She died at the age of 84 on October 8th, 1931. She was buried in Hatcher Cemetery, Freeport, Walton County, Florida.1 1 -
