Joshua Hill Garrett 
Joshua Hill was born on June 10th, 1843 in Lowndes County, Alabama.1 Joshua Hill's father was Overstreet Wiley Garrett and his mother was Martha P Bozeman. His paternal grandparents were Robert* Jackson, Sr. Garrett and Mary* Ann Clackler. He had three brothers and three sisters, named James Monroe, John Coleman, Thomas Jefferson, Frances Sara, Rebecca Virginia and Martha Jane. He was the oldest of the seven children. He had four half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Robert Jonathan, Nedam Gray, Joseph Henry, George, Mary Elizabeth, Eliza Jane and Susan Caroline. He died at the age of 69 in January 1913 in Walker County, Texas.1 -
