Robert was born in 1102 in <Greystoke,Cumberland,England>.1 Robert's father was King Henry I (Beaucleric, Fine Scholar) De Normandy Of England and his mother was Edith Sigulfsdoittir Concubine. His paternal grandparents were King William I (The Couqueror) De Normandy Of England and Matilda De Flanders. He had three sisters named Constance Maud, Matilda and Alice. He was the youngest of the four children. He had ten half-brothers and twelve half-sisters, named Richard, Fulk, Atheling, Richard, Henry, Robert, William, Gilbert, Fitzhenry, Reginald, Juliana, Elizabeth, Euphamia, Matilda, Elizabeth Joan, Eustacis, Sibylla Elizabeth, Emma, Gundrada, Rohese, Isabelle and Maud. He died at the age of 70 in 1172.2 -
