His paternal grandparents were William Henry ANDERSON and Margaret "Peggy" PATTON; his maternal grandparents were James Henry COFFELT and Agnes UNKNOWN. He had three brothers and three sisters, named William Henry , James Madison "Matt" , Alfred Phillip , Mary C. , Rebecca B and Rachel T. . He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on April 18th, 1918 in Awalt, Franklin Co., TN .General Notes
