Denzil Fay Toothman 
Denzil Fay was born on July 3rd, 1900 in Plum Run, WV. Denzil Fay's father was Cyrenus (Yank) Toothman and his mother was Elizabeth Angeline Haught. His paternal grandparents were Alexander (Big Alec) Toothman and Sarah Wetzel; his maternal grandparents were George Haught and Anna Joanfernandez (Nandis) Fluharty. He had six brothers and five sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Clarence Grover, George Edward, Arthur Gay (Petie), Elmus Kemper (Cocky), Everett Dee, Earnest Vane, Dessie Pearl, Arizona Ella, Goldie Ethel, Stella Grace, Retha Dale and Alta Roxie. He was the sixth youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 76 on January 18th, 1977 in Farmington, WV.General Notes
Denzil Fay lived on Laurel run his entire life, working the farm he was born on. Hw worked for Bethlehem Steel, hauling slate up the hill to the slag pile by horse and wagon for years.
