Cyrenus (Yank) Toothman 
Cyrenus (Yank) was born on November 30th, 1852 in Plum Run, WV. Cyrenus (Yank)'s father was Alexander (Big Alec) Toothman and his mother was Sarah Wetzel. His paternal grandparents were Adam F. Toothman and Susanna Kerns; his maternal grandparents were George Wetzel and Elizabeth Snook. He had a brother and two sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named George F., Elizabeth, Mary G. and Senia E.. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 84 on September 20th, 1937.General Notes
Yank lived on Plum Run when he and Angie were married. Angie's parents lived on Johnny Cake Run, near Metz, W.Va. Yank was a farmer and a land clearer. He and Angie lived mostly on Laurel Run, near Farmington. His funeral was at the ME church in Farmington and he wa buried in IOOF Cemetery, Farmington, WV. Pall bearers were Earl Tuttle, Roy Tuttle, George Hughes, W.F.Wilson, Kenneth Arthur Toothman, and Wilbur Cyrenus Toothman. The funeral director was J.B. Lazear of Mannington, and the minister was Rev. C.C.O'Neal.
