Adam F. Toothman 
Adam F. was born on May 18th, 1793 in Doll Run, Monongalia Co, (W)VA. Adam F. 's father was Johann Deterick Duchman and his mother was Sarah Kyser. His paternal grandparents were Johann Christian Duchman and Anna Maria Hauser. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Andrew, William J, Sylvester, Catherine and Barbara. He had five half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Johann Detrick Jr., Michael, John Sr., George Washington, Christian, Christina, Sarah, Hannah , Maria Magdalena, Elizabeth and Mary . He died at the age of 72 on April 7th, 1866.General Notes
Buried in Old Adam Toothman Cemetery, Plum Run, WV. Known as Old Adam. The following land rights have been recorded. Toothman, Adam, 96a., Plum Run, 1831, 250a., Plum Run 1837 116a., 1837. Page 233 "NOw and LOng Ago" Land Grant in 1837 of 96 and 250 acres of land on Plum Run "The Monongalia Story Vol III." 1859 census shows Adam owning 4500 acres of land, at least 562 on Plum Run by 1837
