Suzanne was born in 1166 in of England.1   Suzanne's father was Hamelin Plantagenet and her mother was Isabel de Warenne.  Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V Plantagenet the Fair Ct of Anjou and Adelaide de Angers; her maternal grandparents were William de Warenne III Earl of Warren & Surrey and Ela (or Adela) Talvace de Alençon. She had two brothers and two sisters, named William de Warenne IV, William, Ida (Isabel) and Maud de Warenne.
