John was born in 1042 in of Fleche, Anjou, France.1 John's father was Lancelin I sn de Beaugency and his mother was Haberge (de Beaugency). His paternal grandfather was Landri de Beaugency sn de Beaugency. He was an only child. He died at the age of 55 in 1097.1 General Notes
