Ela (or Adela) Talvace was born about 1110 in England.1 Ela (or Adela) Talvace's father was Guillaume Talvas de Ponthieu Duke of Alençon and her mother was Alice de Bourgogne. Her paternal grandparents were Robert de Alençon Earl of Shrewsbury & Arundel and Agnes de Ponthieu; her maternal grandparents were Eudes I Duke Of Burgundy and Sibylle de Bourgogne. She was an only child. She died on October 10th, 1174 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.1 General Notes
