Roger de Montgomerie was born in 0996.1   Roger de Montgomerie's father was Hugh de Montgomerie Vct of Heimois and his mother was Sibell de Crêpon.  His paternal grandfather was Roger Rogersson de Montgomerie; his maternal grandfather was Herfast de Crêpon.  He was an only child.  He died about 1040 in Paris, France.1
