Judith de Brittany 
Judith was born in 0982 in Brittany, France.1 Judith's father was Conan I Duke Of Brittany and her mother was Ermengard-Gerberge de Anjou. Her paternal grandparents were Judhael Count Of Rennes and Gerberge; her maternal grandparents were Geoffrey I Grisegonelle Ct of Anjou and Adelaide de Vermandois de Chalon. She had a brother named Godfrey (Geoffrey). She was the younger of the two children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Geoffrey, Geoffrey I Taillefer and Judith. She died at the age of 35 on June 16th, 1017.1 General Notes

of Normandy. Per Weis' "Ancestral Roots. . ." (166:22).
According to ES II:79 Richard II did marry as his first wife
Judith of Rennes. Their son and heir was Richard III who
married Adelaide countess of Contenance dau. of king Robert II
of France. Judith is given as sole issue of that marriage, and
went on to marry Tostig then Welf.
