Richard II le Bon was born in 0958 in of Normandy, France.1 Richard II le Bon's father was Richard I The Fearless Duke Of Normandy and his mother was Gunnora of Denmark. His paternal grandparents were William I Longsword Duke of Normandy and Sprota (Adela) de Senlis; his maternal grandfather was Herbastus de Crêpon. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Robert d'Evereaux, Ralph de Ivrea, William de Hiesmes, Matilda (Mahaud), Hedwig (Havoise), Beatrice and Emma. He had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Richard II The Good, Guillaume, Robert, Godfrey, Godfrey, Hawise, Beatrix and Fredesende. He died at the age of 68 on August 28th, 1026 in Fecamp, S-Infr, France.1 General Notes
