Robert's father was Richard I The Fearless Duke Of Normandy and his mother was Gunnora CREPON. His paternal grandparents were William I Longsword Duke of Normandy and Sprota (Adela) de Senlis; his maternal grandfather was (Unk) Forquelar Of Cirques. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Richard II The Good, Guillaume, Godfrey, Hawise and Beatrix. He had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Godfrey, Richard II le Bon, Robert d'Evereaux, Ralph de Ivrea, William de Hiesmes, Fredesende, Matilda (Mahaud), Hedwig (Havoise), Beatrice and Emma.
