Fulk IV le Rechin was born in 1043 in Anjou, France.1 Fulk IV le Rechin's father was Geoffrey II Ferole Ct of Gastinois and his mother was Ermengard de Anjou. His paternal grandparents were Geoffrey I Ferreol Ct of Gastinois and Beatrice de Macon; his maternal grandparents were Fulk III Nerra the Black Ct of Anjou and Hildegarde de Aquitaine. He had a half-sister named Hildegard. He died at the age of 63 on April 14th, 1106.1 General Notes
