William de Warenne I Earl of Surrey 
William de Warenne I was born in 1055 in Bellencombre, Seine-Maritime, France.1 William de Warenne I's father was Rudolph de Warenne and his mother was Emma (de Warenne). His paternal grandparents were Hugh Bishop of Coustances and Gundrada de Crêpon. He was an only child. He died at the age of 33 on June 24th, 1088 in Pevensey, Sussex.1 General Notes
