Isabel was born about July 1136 in Surrey, England.1 Isabel's father was William de Warenne III Earl of Warren & Surrey and her mother was Ela (or Adela) Talvace de Alençon. Her paternal grandparents were William de Warenne II Earl of Warren & Surrey and Isabella Capet de Crépi de Vermandois; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume Talvas de Ponthieu Duke of Alençon and Alice de Bourgogne. She had a half-brother named William FitzPatrick de. She died on July 13th, 1199 in Lewes, Sussex, England/Lewes, England. She was buried in Chapter House, Lewes Priory, Sussex, England.1 1 General Notes
