William de Warenne III was born about 1110.1 William de Warenne III's father was William de Warenne II Earl of Warren & Surrey and his mother was Isabella Capet de Crépi de Vermandois. His paternal grandparents were William de Warenne I Earl of Surrey and Gundrada de St. Omer; his maternal grandparents were Hugh Magnus de Crépi Mar of Orléans and Adelar de Vermandois Cts of Vermandois. He had two sisters named Gundrada and Adelaide (Ada). He was the oldest of the three children. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Robert "Bossu" de Beaumont II, Waleran de Beaumont, Isabella and Adeline. He died in Laodicea, Holy Land.1 General Notes
