Maud de Clifford 
Maud was born about 1234 in of Clifford Castle, Herefordshire, England.1 Maud's father was Walter de Clifford III Lord Clifford and her mother was Marared Drwyndon verch Llywelyn Fawr. Her paternal grandparents were Walter de Clifford II Lord Clifford and Agnes de Cundy; her maternal grandparents were Llywelyn Fawr ap Iorwerth Prince of Wales and Joanna of England. She was an only child. She died in December 1283 in Brimsfield, Gloucestershire.1 General Notes
