Walter de Clifford III was born about 1186 in of Clifford Castle, Herefordshire, England.1   Walter de Clifford III's father was Walter de Clifford II Lord Clifford and his mother was Agnes de Cundy.  His paternal grandparents were Walter FitzRichard de Clifford Lord Clifford and Margaret de Toeni; his maternal grandparents were Roger de Condet Lord Coventry and Alice de Cheney. He had a brother named Roger.  He was the older of the two children.  He died in December 1263 in Clifford Castle, Herefordshire.1
