Robert Capet de Dreux was born in 1123 in Reims, France.1 Robert Capet de Dreux's father was Louis VI Capet le Gros King of France and his mother was Adelaide de Savoie. His paternal grandparents were Philippe I Capet the Fair King of France and Bertha de Hainault; his maternal grandparents were Humbert II le Gros de Maurienne Ct of Savoy and Gisele de Burgundy. He had two brothers and a sister, named Louis VII Capet le Jeune, Pierre de Courtenay and Constance. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 61 on October 11th, 1184 in Braine.1 General Notes
